It's been months since we filmed these scenes so I apologize for not remembering the character names or exact context, but i'll do my best to explain it. This was actually my first behind the scenes experience on a working production that I was graciously invited to, thanks to my graduation project mentor and friend Chad Oliver who was working as 1st AC. The film is a short (about 10 min) about a young trauma victim who must fight to survive as the off-duty surgeon is called at home to scrub in [...]

This episode took place in Downtown Wilmington next to the Battleship North Carolina and it was actually my first 12 hour set (well 11.5 hrs if you want to be exact.) I played one of the estimated 500 fans to Haley James Scott's band "Flying Machine." It lasted from about 2pm-2am and it was quite cold and tiring. They filmed about 4 or 5 different songs between two different "venues" (still in the same location) and then some short dialogue between Quinn and Clayton. [...]

I was hired on to this episode to play a restaurant patron in a breakfast scene, but they overbooked a little so I was actually never used. This happens quite often, and there's not much that you can do about it. It's disappointing, but it comes with the territory of being an extra. At least I still get paid :) I can't say much about the scene because [...]

This was my first official (paid) work on a film production set, which is really exciting. In the scene we shot, I played a Paparazzi member at an "airport" eager to capture some footage of Tree Hill's newest celebrity (and cast member.) The funny thing is, they actually ran out of prop cameras, so I ended up pretending to assist another guy while [...]
